New Genuine Eaton Fuller S2578 — Complete pistol-grip master shift knob and air valve assembly with printed shift pattern, designed specifically for 13-speed Roadranger transmissions.

This is the shift pattern style version (not the plain Fuller logo version). It features a comfortable ergonomic pistol grip with a two-position black range selector paddle (Up/Down for High/Low range) and a two-position red splitter button (Front/Back for high-side splitting). The top has the full 13-speed shift pattern printed for easy driver reference.

The Eaton Fuller 13-speed Roadranger uses a 5-position H-pattern in the main box, shifted twice — once in Low Range and once in High Range — plus a splitter in High Range.

How the S2578 Roadranger Valve Works

Low Range Operation

Constant air pressure is supplied from the slave valve to the Roadranger valve “S” port (1). For LO range (range lever down), splitter button rearward, air flows out of the Roadranger valve “P” port.

High Range Operation

For HI range (range lever up), splitter button rearward, the lever prevents the air from passing through the Roadranger valve. Air now flows through the “H/L” port into the Roadranger valve.

Splitter Operation (High Range)

For splitter operation (range lever up), splitter button forward, air flows through the “H/L” port and air flows out of the Roadranger valve “SP” port. Air pressure which was in the outlet line is exhausted out the bottom of the Roadranger valve.

HI Range Overdrive

For HI range overdrive (range lever up), actuator button forward, air flows out of the Roadranger valve “SP” port. Air pressure which was in the outlet line is exhausted out the Roadranger valve bottom.

13-Speed Roadranger Shift Pattern

The Eaton Fuller 13-speed uses a 5-position H-pattern in the main box, shifted twice — once in Low Range and once in High Range — plus a splitter in High Range.

Shifting Tips:

• Toggle the black Hi/Lo paddle before reaching the top of the gear you're leaving.
• Pre-select the red splitter button before making the shift — not after.
