About Discount Parts Exchange

Discount Parts Exchange was founded in 1997 in Mansfield, Ohio by three partners with deep roots in the heavy-duty truck parts industry: Paul Crow, Hans Holtz, and Bob Rausch.

We began as a wholesale drivetrain supplier, providing remanufactured transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and components to other rebuilders and shops across the region. As demand grew for reliable, high-quality reman units in our local market, we shifted our focus to serving truck owners, fleets, owner-operators, and installers directly.

Our goal has always been straightforward: deliver better-than-average remanufactured drivetrain components backed by honest work, careful core selection, proper machining, and thorough testing. No shortcuts. No aerosol overhauls. Just dependable parts that perform in the real world.

Today, we continue that mission from our facility in Mansfield, Ohio. Through our online store at TruckParts4U.com, we ship remanufactured Eaton Fuller, Dana Spicer, and Meritor transmissions and differentials — along with quality surplus and OEM take-off parts — to customers across the country.

Our Team

  • Hans Holtz — Gearing and remanufacturing specialist. Hans leads operations in The Reman Center, handling diagnostics, teardown inspection, build quality, and technical support.
  • Bob Rausch — Manages sales, customer relations, sourcing, surplus inventory, and our online presence.
  • Paul Crow (1960–2007) — One of our original founders. Paul’s no-nonsense standards and work ethic continue to shape our culture and commitment to quality.
